Afia Chin is part of the first generation of her family born on this landmass, with a diverse cultural background that is the lifeblood of her craft. Born in Brooklyn and bred in the DMV, she is a multifaceted artist whose creative roots were first steeped in the literary arts, music, and various means of visual art mediums, and her spoken word abilities birthed from a theater background which brings life to her lifelong writing passions.
