CHICKEN HEARTS
Enjoyed by humans and dogs worldwide!
2 lbs hearts
6 cups water
1 tbsp Sea salt
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
Organic Greens
1 package multi grain spaghetti
GUNION SAUCE
1 clove garlic
1 onion
1 tbsp coconut oil
HUMAN & DOG: In a deep pot, boil chicken hearts for 15-20 minutes and boil pasta in water in a separate pot and rinse when ready. Plate and ready to serve to the dog.
For humans, take it to another pan on the stovetop where garlic and onions have been fried together, add coriander and multigrain pasta, organic greens and serve!
HUMAN Version #2: Fried on the stovetop in a pan with any oil of your choice or coconut oil and you can add onions or garlic at the end if you want to feed the dog the same thing. For us, serve on organic greens or with pasta with tomato sauce on the side or a hot pepper sauce
Health Benefits: This meat which is an organ, is low in sodium and a good source of Folate, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus and Copper, and a very good source of Protein, Riboflavin, Vitamin B12, Iron and Zinc.
The not-so-healthy part: This food is very high in Cholesterol due to its fat content.
